Palm Desert, CA- PBR’s Wrangler Unleash the Beast tour took the desert with a three-day
tournament that showcased the top bull riders for a chance to advance to the
championship finals. The tour is sponsored by the energy drink giant, Monster Beverage.
The tournament finals take place in May 2025 in Arlington, TX. The three-day event hosted
over 36 riders as they struggled to stay atop unruly bulls.
Coming out in first place, Mr. 90-pointer- Dalton Kasel earned a whopping 344.25 points.
Kasel earned 86.25 on his first night of the competition and 86 and 85 in the last two
nights. Kasel earned 87 points in the championship round. Kasel continues to lead the PBR
rankings at 1st place with 947 points total.

Andrew Alvidrez came in second place, earning 324.75 points for the entire weekend.
Alvidrez earned 85, 88.5, and, 60 points and, 91.25 in the championship round. 28-year old
Alvidrez is currently 5th ranked in the standings with 570.75 points.
30-year old Sage Steele Kimzey came in third place earning 262.75. Kimzey earned 87.25 in
his first round but was unlucky his second night, only lasting 3.27 seconds. Kimzey’s score
in the third night came short at only 60 but it was enough to secure a third round. Kimzey
solidified his spot on the scoreboard, scoring 88.25 in the championship round. Kimzey
currently sits at third place with 695.75 points.
The Unleash the Beast tour continues with the Ty Murray Invitational in Alberquerque,
New Mexico. The event takes place on March 28th and continues through the 30th before
continuing to South Dakota.
