Team Penske’s Scott McLaughlin delivered a commanding victory in the 2026 Mission Foods Grand Prix of Monterey at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. Starting from pole, the Team Penske driver led 87 of the 95 laps and ended a 36-race winless streak.

Kyle Kirkwood finished second, while Alexander Rossi took third place for Ed Carpenter Racing, finishing the season on a high by earning his first podium of the season. 

Alex Palou finished eighth after starting on the front row and closed the year as the 2026 NTT INDYCAR SERIES champion. The title was Palou’s fifth overall and his fourth consecutive championship.
