World No.1 Nelly Korda further strengthened her position at the top of the US Solheim Cup team rankings by winning the first major of the year, the Chevron Championship, by five shots on Sunday.

In five starts this season, Korda has won twice and finished as a runner up in the rest as she closes in on securing her place on the 2026 US Solheim Cup team, for what will be her fifth appearance.

England’s Charley Hull, tied 10th at the Chevron Championship, sits at the top of the current European Solheim Cup team points list. Lottie Woad was the highest placed European in Houston, finishing in tied 7th, as she takes aim on her dream of making her Solheim Cup debut at what will be the 20th edition, held at Bernardus Golf in The Netherlands, September 11-13, 2026.
