ORLANDO, NOV 13, 2025

Nelly Korda and Gary Woodland are among the latest stars to commit to the 2025 PNC Championship taking place Dec. 18-21, at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club Orlando, Grande Lakes.

Korda, playing for a fifth time in the season ending family event, is the youngest professional in the tournament and will be partnering with her father, Petr.

Team Korda is looking to improve on a best finish of T5th in 2022 with Korda commenting, “We are very much looking forward to playing in the 2025 PNC Championship this year. It is such a special week to play competitively alongside my dad in this amazing field of golf icons with our family supporting us. It has become the perfect way to end my season on a high note.”

Gary Woodland has been selected to make his debut among the players confirmed so far. He joins former winners John Daly and Vijay Singh, fan favorite Fred Couples for a second year, 2003 US Open champion, Jim Furyk, 1997 Open Champion Justin Leonard and 1998 Masters and Open winner, Mark O’Meara.

Woodland returned to professional golf early last year after undergoing successful surgery for a brain tumor in September 2023.  This popular 2019 US Open winner said: “I am thrilled to have finally gotten the invite for this very special tournament. I feel so fortunate to be healthy and so thankful to my family who supported me through everything. I can’t think of a more perfect way to start the holidays!”

Last year’s star-studded field won 69 majors and 40 senior major titles and more than 1000 international titles. There were five past champions in the field and two teams making their debut. Then World No. 1 Nelly Korda was the highest ranked with more than half the field having reached the pinnacle of World No. 1 during their distinguished careers.

This is PNC Bank’s 14th year as the tournament’s title sponsor, having recently renewed their commitment to the event as title sponsor in a multi-year deal. The event was renamed the PNC Championship in 2020, reflecting the world class talent and special bonds that characterize this inclusive family tournament.

The tournament, which will be broadcast live across NBC, GOLF Channel and Peacock, attracts major champions whose victories this year span 1959 to the present day.

The PNC Championship has continued to evolve and develop since the inaugural tournament in 1995, when 10 major winners gathered with their sons. The tournament now features 20 major champions and their relatives competing in a two-day, 36-hole scramble for the Willie Park Trophy. To qualify for the PNC Championship, players must have won a major championship or The Players Championship. Their partner must not hold any playing status on a professional Tour.
