Day 3 – Masters Competitions (Right & Left Arm)
The third day of the 46th World Armwrestling Championships and the 27th World Para-Armwrestling Championships in Albena, Bulgaria, was dedicated to the Masters divisions (40+, 50+, 60+, 70+). The competitions brought together experienced athletes from around the world, proving that age is no barrier to strength, passion, and determination.

Masters Male – Official Team Standings
🥇Romania – 4 Gold, 1 Silver, 2 Bronze
🥈Turkiye – 3 Gold, 6 Silver, 1 Bronze
🥉Italy – 3 Gold, 1 Silver, 3 Bronze
➡ Followed by Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Norway, and Switzerland.
Masters Female – Official Team Standings
🥇Kazakhstan – 2 Gold, 2 Silver, 2 Bronze
🥈Bulgaria – 2 Gold, 2 Silver
🥉Ukraine – 2 Gold, 0 Silver, 2 Bronze
➡ Greece, Romania, Latvia, Germany, and India also achieved strong results.

The Masters day showcased not only technical quality and competitive spirit, but also
the dedication of athletes over 40, 50, 60, and 70 years old, who continue to inspire
future generations.
The Championships continue with the Para-Armwrestling divisions, an
important part of the event’s inclusive program, where athletes with physical
impairments will compete for world titles.
Organized by the World Armwrestling Federation (WAF) in cooperation with the
Bulgarian Armwrestling Federation, the Championships gather more than 1,500
athletes and para-athletes from over 50 countries across all continents.
