May 10, 2025 – AlUla, Saudi Arabia – The final day of Arabian Warrior AlUla 2025 delivered a demanding slate of races from the Junior Warrior 1km to the punishing 50km Ultra Challenge as athletes from across the globe took on some of the toughest obstacle course configurations seen in OCR.

The day began with the Junior Warrior 1km, where young participants faced scaled obstacles that emphasized agility and focus. The early races set the tone for a gruelling programme, which quickly escalated with the 10km and 20km Adult Open Races. These courses featured intense technical challenges and exposed runners to the physical extremes of desert terrain.

New course elements pushed competitors in unfamiliar ways. The “Tyre Toss” required precise coordination and explosive power; the “Hanging Gardens” tested upper-body stamina through a sequence of suspended rigs. Athletes navigated “Sinbad the Sailor”, a vertical jump feature demanding balance and nerve, while the “Tunnel of Terror” added psychological strain with a confined, sand-filled crawlspace that challenged breath and composure.

The day’s most gruelling test came in the 50km Ultra Challenge, a high-endurance event that combined long-distance running with complex obstacles across unforgiving terrain. Racers had to manage fatigue, hydration, and technical difficulty over multiple laps, making it the defining contest of Arabian Warrior’s season.

Closing the event, the 10km Elite Race offered a high-intensity, head-to-head battle among the region’s top competitors. With prize spots and titles on the line, elite athletes pushed through heat, fatigue, and resistance for podium placements.

As presenting partner, AlUla Moments continues to support events that blend sport, storytelling, and place-based engagement.

Budget Saudi Arabia, the official partner, remained a central part of the experience with branded obstacles, a high-visibility booth zone offering giveaways and recovery stations, and a live musical performance atop a Budget vehicle that energized both racers and fans throughout the day.

The event’s success was made possible by the strong support of the Saudi Sports for All Federation (SFA), whose ongoing investment in grassroots and elite-level participation ensures a thriving future for sport in the Kingdom.
